Service 06

Build your team's AI muscle, then run it yourself.

Your people learn by doing real work alongside ours. Skills are proven on live products, not in a classroom, until your team runs the AI Factory without us.

What you walk away with

A team that can specify, govern and run AI

  • Skills map for every AI role, with current and target levels
  • Capability-transfer plan with phases and milestones
  • Embedded coaching on real products, rotating across types
  • Witnessed sign-off checklists for each milestone
  • Leadership and product-owner AI literacy sessions
  • Playbooks, runbooks and templates handed over and kept current
  • A rebuild test that proves you can operate without us
  • An exit plan, agreed at the start
How it works

Learning that happens on the job

Training courses fade. Doing the real thing, with someone experienced beside you, sticks. That's the whole idea.

A team gathered around a large table during a collaborative session
01

Map the skills

Define each AI role you need and assess where your people are today.

02

Embed from day one

Your staff join delivery teams on real products, rotating across product types.

03

Shift the lead

Your people take over selected roles with coaching, then lead whole products.

04

Prove it

Milestones are signed off only when your engineer does the task alone, witnessed and recorded.

05

Hand over

A rebuild test, a full handover pack and agreed exit support close the loop.

The journey

Blend first. Co-lead next. Then independent.

The balance of work shifts steadily from our people to yours, with clear checkpoints along the way.

Phase 1

Blended

Your staff work inside delivery teams from the first day, learning each role on live products.

Coaches leadYour team
Phase 2

Co-led

Your people take the lead on selected roles and products, with coaching on hand.

CoachesYour team leads
Phase 3

Independent

Your teams run the AI Factory end to end. We support on demand, or not at all.

Skills milestones

Milestones your people prove, not just attend

Typical checkpoints for a three-year program. We tailor the timing to your pace and starting point.

Month 6

Operate and monitor

Run and monitor live products, carry out a scheduled retrain and redeploy in a test environment.

Verified by an observed exercise and checklist
Month 18

Extend and size

Extend a pipeline, modify and redeploy a model, and size a new use case with the factory's model.

Verified by a team-authored change, reviewed
Month 36

Deliver and govern

Deliver a small product end to end and govern work from any supplier.

Verified by an independent build and recovery
No lock-in

You can walk away at any time, and keep everything

Handover isn't a final-week scramble. It's built into how every product is delivered.

You own it from the first commit

Code, models, prompts and pipelines live in your repositories, under your accounts.

Documentation ships with every product

Each product comes with a runbook, a model card and data lineage, kept current.

A rebuild test proves it

Your team, or a successor, rebuilds a product from your repositories to show nothing is missing.

Exit support, agreed up front

A defined period of support to you or a successor partner, written into the plan from the start.

Illustrative example

A logistics company that wanted to stop renting its AI team

Situation
Forecasting and routing models had been built by an outside firm. Internal staff could request changes but couldn't make them, and every update meant a new statement of work.
Approach
We mapped the skills needed, embedded internal engineers in the delivery teams, and set witnessed milestones for operating, extending and finally delivering products on their own.
What you get
An internal team that runs and improves its own models, complete handover packs for every product, a passed rebuild test, and the freedom to choose partners on merit.
FAQ

Common questions

Is this a training course?
No. There are some short literacy sessions for leaders and product owners, but the core is on-the-job coaching on real products, with skills signed off by doing.
Can this work with another partner doing the build?
Yes. We can design the transfer plan, set the milestones and act as the independent assessor, while your build partner provides the day-to-day pairing.
What if a milestone is missed?
We look at why: time released for staff, product mix, or coaching quality. Then we adjust the plan. Clear milestones make problems visible early.
How many people should we put forward?
Enough to cover each critical role with at least two people, so knowledge never sits with one person. We'll size it with you during skills mapping.
